Templyworks ("we", "us", "our") operates the online store at templyworks.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).

2. What Data We Collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, billing address, and payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments — we never store card details). We also collect basic usage data (browser type, IP address, pages visited) via Shopify's built-in analytics and essential session cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to process and fulfil your orders, send order confirmations and digital delivery emails, respond to support enquiries, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for order fulfilment, and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for fraud prevention and service improvement. Where consent is required (e.g. marketing), we collect it separately.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our store: Shopify Ireland Ltd. (platform and payments) and EDP – Easy Digital Products (digital delivery). These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
6. Data Retention
Order data is retained for 10 years as required by German tax law (§147 AO). You may request deletion of any other personal data at any time.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email info@templyworks.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hamburg data protection authority: www.datenschutz-hamburg.de.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to operate the store (session management, shopping cart). Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) are only set after you provide consent via our cookie banner.
