Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Templyworks ("we", "us", "our") operates the online store at templyworks.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).
1. Data Controller
Kevin Paul Robert
Langenhorner Chaussee 217A

Email: info@templyworks.com
2. What Data We Collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, billing address, and payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments — we never store card details).
We also process technical data that is strictly necessary to operate the store, including your IP address and session data used for cart, checkout, security and fraud prevention.
Analytics data (pages visited, browser type, referrer) is only collected where you have given consent via our cookie banner. See Section 9.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to process and fulfil your orders, send order confirmations and digital delivery emails, respond to support enquiries, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
4. Legal Basis
Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for order fulfilment and digital delivery. Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for fraud prevention and securing our store. Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) for tax and accounting retention. Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for analytics cookies and any marketing communications.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our store:
- Shopify International Limited (Ireland) — e-commerce platform, hosting, payment processing and digital product delivery via Shopify Digital Products.
- Consentmo — cookie consent banner (stores your consent choice).
- Notion Labs, Inc. (USA) — hosts our templates; for Custom Template Requests, the brief you send us is processed in Notion.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace) — our business email (info@templyworks.com).
These providers act as processors under data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
6. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States and Canada, by Shopify, Notion, Google and their sub-processors. Such transfers are safeguarded by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or by an adequacy decision where one applies.
7. Data Retention
Order and invoice data is retained for 10 years as required by German tax law (§147 AO). Support correspondence is kept for up to 3 years. Any other personal data is deleted on request.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
To exercise these rights, email info@templyworks.com. We respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit — datenschutz-hamburg.de
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies required to operate the store (session management, shopping cart, security). These do not require consent.
Non-essential cookies — analytics and any advertising — are only set after you provide consent via our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time through the banner settings.
10. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
